About us
Who we are
We are a team of change-makers dedicated to building healthier, stronger communities. We believe that every helping hand can transform lives, break barriers to good health, and create a brighter, more equitable future for all.
Population Health Linkages (PHL) is a registered non-profit organization in Zambia committed to improving community health and well-being. We focus on addressing critical public health challenges through research, advocacy, capacity building, and direct interventions. Our programs target priority areas such as communicable and non-communicable diseases, mental health, nutrition, climate justice, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).
By connecting people, systems, and resources, PHL develops sustainable, inclusive, and evidence-based solutions that save lives, reduce health inequalities, and strengthen community resilience. Our mission is to ensure that every person in Zambia has the opportunity to live a healthy, dignified life.

Our approach
Our Mission
Our mission is to support, sustain, and innovate public health initiatives for underprivileged and marginalized populations in Zambia.
We address the needs of those affected by mental illnesses, age-related health challenges, neglected tropical diseases, and other serious health concerns linked to food insecurity, climate change, natural disasters, and gender inequalities.
Through strong partnerships with local institutions and communities, PHL works to build resilient health systems and create lasting impact.
Our Vision
Population Health Linkages envisions a future where every person in Zambia regardless of age, gender, income, or location has the opportunity to live a healthy, dignified, and fulfilling life.
We strive to build resilient, inclusive communities supported by strong health systems, where individuals are empowered to overcome challenges such as disease, poverty, climate change, and inequality. Through innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development, we aim to create a nation where health and well-being are rights for all.
